Proxies for TikTok
TikTok is a mobile platform, and mobile carrier addresses look most natural to it. The IP country also affects who sees your videos.
Why mobile proxies
Most TikTok users open the app on a smartphone over mobile internet. A mobile IP address makes your account look like theirs. Residential proxies also work, especially for accounts that are already warmed up.
The country defines the audience
TikTok recommendations are tied to the region. If you run an account for a Polish audience, use Polish addresses all the time, not only when posting.
Video uses traffic
Scrolling the feed through a proxy takes hundreds of megabytes per hour. To avoid overpaying, route only the app or profile with the account through the proxy, and upload videos without the proxy when you can.
A stable address
Keep one address per account: in the generator choose “Sticky session” and give each account its own port.
What TikTok sees besides the IP
TikTok relies on several signals at once. These include the IP address and the country you connect from, device or browser data, language and time zone, the phone number and email tied to the account, and behavior: how long you watch videos, how many actions you take per hour, and whether they repeat across accounts. A separate address covers only the first item on that list.
So running several accounts takes three parts: a separate mobile or residential IP, a separate antidetect browser profile or a separate phone, and separate sign-up details for each account. If even one part is shared, the accounts can look linked even when each one has its own address.
Setup for several accounts
- Create a mobile proxy plan. Residential proxies work for accounts that are already warmed up and cost less: $1.59 per GB versus $2.50 for mobile.
- In the generator choose the country where the account's audience lives and the “Sticky session” mode. Set the session duration to 60–120 minutes so the address doesn't change mid-session.
- If the address needs to belong to a specific carrier, advanced mode lets you set the carrier (ASN) or city. Precise geo counts ×2 in traffic, so turn it on only where you really need it.
- Give each account its own port from the 10000–20000 range and add it to the antidetect profile. Step-by-step guides are available for GoLogin, Octo Browser and Dolphin Anty.
- Open the IP check inside the profile. The country should match the account's geo, and the profile's language and time zone should match the address country.
If you work from a smartphone, set the proxy in the Wi-Fi settings; see the guides for Android and iPhone. In that case traffic from every app on the phone goes through the proxy, so a separate work device for the accounts is a better idea.
The generator in your dashboard outputs lines in several formats: username:password@host:port, host:port:username:password, with the protocol in front, and others. Pick the one your antidetect browser accepts and download the list as one .txt file. If you're unsure whether a line works, test it with the Proxy Checker before adding it to a profile.
Warm-up and mistakes to avoid
A new account starts as a viewer: for a few days it watches videos in its niche to the end, likes them and follows creators. Start posting gradually, and don't upload the same video to all accounts at once. During warm-up the address should stay in one country. A port can change its IP when the session expires, or earlier if the device goes offline, but the new address will be in the same country.
- Don't switch an account between countries to “see a different feed”. Use a separate profile without your work account for that.
- Don't run several accounts on one port or in one profile.
- Don't use datacenter proxies: TikTok spots server addresses more easily than mobile and home ones.
- Don't turn on a VPN on top of the proxy: the site will then see the VPN address, not the country you picked.
Nobody can guarantee protection from bans: the platform decides based on all signals together. The pool is shared, so if an address is already flagged as a proxy, turn on the anonymity filter in the pool settings or simply take another port.
If an account still gets restricted, don't change the country, profile and address all at once; that looks even more suspicious. First pass the check the platform offers from the same country, then reduce activity for a few days.
Traffic and IP mode by task
| Task | Proxy type | IP mode | Traffic (roughly) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account sign-up and warm-up | Mobile | “Sticky session”, one port per account | 300–700 MB per hour of scrolling |
| Posting videos and replying to comments | Mobile or residential | “Sticky session” | tens of MB plus the size of the video |
| Several warmed-up brand accounts | Residential | “Sticky session”, one port per account | depends on time spent in the feed |
| Checking trends in another country | Residential | rotating or “Sticky session” | hundreds of MB per hour of viewing |
Video is the most expensive part of TikTok. Traffic is counted both ways, so both watching and uploading a video come out of your balance. Lower the video quality in the app or browser settings, don't leave the feed open in the background, and set a daily traffic limit on the plan: when it's reached, the plan either stops or sends a warning by email or Telegram. Purchased traffic never expires, so you can buy traffic in advance.
Countries people work with most
The IP country should match the audience you want to reach. For a Ukrainian account use Ukraine proxies, for English-language projects the USA or the United Kingdom, for European ones Germany or Poland, and for large Portuguese-speaking audiences Brazil. There are 195 countries in total, and choosing a country costs nothing extra.
You can set the country separately for each line, so accounts for different markets can live in one plan. The main rule is that one account always works from one country.
If a brand is entering a new market, create a separate account for it with separate ports and addresses from that country, rather than moving the old Ukrainian account to the new geo. That way each account's history stays consistent, and recommendations are built for the audience you actually make videos for.
Live streams and technical limits
The proxy works over HTTP(S) and SOCKS5; ports 10000–20000 keep the address in both protocols. UDP isn't supported, so features that require UDP won't work through the proxy. The open outgoing ports are 80, 443, 53, 853, 5228, 5060, 8080, 8090, 8443 and 8888. If you stream through OBS, check which port the stream uses: the standard RTMP port 1935 isn't on that list.
Best proxies for TikTok accounts, TikTok Shop and TikTok Ads
The best proxies for TikTok are mobile ones from the country where the account is registered — for example, US mobile IPs for a US TikTok account or TikTok Shop. On a phone you set the proxy in the Wi-Fi settings (iPhone, Android); on a computer, in an antidetect browser profile. For TikTok Ads accounts, keep one sticky IP per account and do not change the country between logins.

FAQ
How much traffic does TikTok use?
Posting and comments take tens of megabytes. Scrolling the feed takes 300–700 MB per hour, depending on video quality.
Can I work with several countries?
Yes. You can change the country for each proxy line; you don't need a separate plan per country.
Do I need a separate phone for each TikTok account?
Not necessarily. You can run accounts from an antidetect browser where each profile has its own fingerprint and its own proxy port. Several accounts on one phone with one proxy will look linked.
Can I pick a specific mobile carrier?
Yes, advanced mode in the generator lets you set the carrier (ASN), region or city. Traffic with precise geo counts ×2, while choosing only a country costs nothing extra.
Why does TikTok show a feed from the wrong country after I change the proxy?
Check that the profile's language and time zone match the IP country and that your VPN is off. The account's past history and the region settings in the app also affect recommendations, so the feed doesn't change right away.
Which proxy type is best for TikTok?
Mobile. TikTok is a mobile-first app, and carrier IPs raise the fewest questions. Residential IPs work for viewing and analytics; datacenter IPs are not recommended for accounts.
