Proxies for X (Twitter)

Social media teams run several brand accounts on X, and analysts track mentions and trends across countries. Both tasks need addresses in the right region.

What proxies are for

  • Several accounts. An agency runs pages for different clients, and each needs its own address so the accounts are not linked through a shared office IP.
  • Trends and results by region. The timeline, trends and ads depend on the country. Proxies for Twitter show them the way the local audience sees them.
  • Mention monitoring. Collecting public posts about a brand or event while spreading requests across many addresses.

Which proxies to choose

For accounts, use mobile or residential proxies with a sticky IP: social networks are mostly opened from phones and home networks. For collecting public data, rotating residential proxies fit, with every request coming from a new address. Datacenter proxies are not recommended for accounts.

How to set it up

For accounts choose the country and “Sticky IP” in the generator and give each account its own port from 10000–20000. For monitoring use port 823 (HTTP) or 824 (SOCKS5) — a new address per request. Profiles are easiest to run in an antidetect browser, with guides for AdsPower, Dolphin Anty and Octo Browser; for scripts see Python and Playwright.

What to know up front

The address pool is shared, and a sticky address lasts up to 120 minutes — then the port gets a new one from the same country. Proxies do not override the platform's rules: automation, bulk actions and multiple accounts are acceptable only within its terms. Spam and engagement fraud are also banned by our acceptable use policy.

FAQ

Are mobile or residential proxies better for X?

Both work for accounts; mobile ones fit when the account is run from a phone. For collecting public data, residential proxies are better value.

Can I run several accounts on one plan?

Yes. Give each account its own port in the 10000–20000 range — each gets its own address, and you pay only for total traffic.

Do live audio rooms work through a proxy?

Pages and the timeline work. Real-time voice and video streams may not: our proxies do not carry UDP traffic.
