Proxies for Ceneo
Ceneo is one of the most popular price comparison sites in Poland. A proxy with a Polish IP helps shops and brands see rankings and prices the way shoppers see them and collect public data on competitors' offers on a regular schedule.

Why you need proxies for Ceneo
On Ceneo, a shopper types a product name, sees offers from many shops side by side and clicks through to the cheapest one or the one with the fastest delivery. For a shop or a brand, this is a storefront where everything is visible at once: the price, the position in the list, the shop rating and the reviews.
Polish proxies help with three tasks: seeing where and at what price your products and your competitors' offers are listed, collecting public prices on a schedule, and checking whether delivery and pickup differ between cities. If you work from Ukraine or Germany, a Polish address removes one extra variable: you see the site as a shopper in Warsaw does.
Start with Ceneo's official tools
If you are a shop, some of the data is easier and more reliable to take from your own account. Offers get onto Ceneo through a product feed (an XML file) that the shop connects in the merchant panel. The same panel shows click statistics and click costs, and these numbers are more accurate than any external collection.
Ceneo offers partner programs and integrations for shops and brands. Before building your own collection, check which reports and data formats are available to you under your agreement: part of the task may already be covered. Proxies are needed where there is no official data: how your offer looks among others, how competitors' prices change and which shops appear on a product page.
Rankings and prices as a shopper sees them
Through a Polish proxy, open Ceneo in a clean browser profile without signing in and find your products by your key search terms. Check:
- where your offer is placed on the product page and in search results;
- what price and delivery cost competitors show;
- whether the name, photos, availability and price came through correctly from the feed;
- how the shop rating and the number of reviews are displayed;
- which sellers have recently appeared on your product page.
The order of offers on Ceneo does not depend on price alone: it is also affected by the sorting the shopper chooses and by shops' listing terms. So record the sorting in every check and compare results with the same settings.
For manual checks like these, the "Sticky session" mode on a port in the 10000-20000 range is convenient: all pages open from one address, which the port holds for 1 to 120 minutes, 30 by default.
Regular collection of public prices
Brands need a daily picture: what different shops charge for their products, whether they stick to recommended prices and who goes below them. Shops need to see how competitors' prices on key items change. Collect product pages on a schedule and keep only the fields you need: shop, price, delivery, availability and the date of the check.
For automated collection, use the "Rotating (new IP per request)" mode: port 823 (HTTP) or 824 (SOCKS5) gives a new address for every request, and the load is spread across different IPs. A plan allows up to 1000 concurrent connections, but Ceneo does not need that many: start with a few threads, pause between requests and increase the volume gradually. The general principles are in the price monitoring and web scraping use cases.
Which proxies to choose
Datacenter proxies, $0.65 per GB, are data center addresses and the cheapest option for large volumes. Start with them if pages load reliably.
If the site often answers data center addresses with a check, switch to Polish residential proxies, $1.59 per GB. These are home internet provider IPs, and through them Ceneo looks the same as it does to a regular shopper. Mobile proxies, $2.50 per GB, are usually more than you need for price collection, but they are useful for viewing the mobile version from a Polish carrier IP. More about Polish addresses is on the Poland proxies page.
Regional differences: delivery and pickup
Prices on Ceneo are mostly the same across Poland, so for most tasks choosing the country is enough. Differences show up in the details: pickup in a specific city, pickup points, delivery times and local shops. If you need to know what a shopper in Krakow or Gdansk sees, set the city in the generator's advanced mode.
Geo is set in the username, for example USERNAME__cr.pl;city.warsaw or USERNAME__cr.pl;city.krakow; city names are written in Latin letters without diacritics. Traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or carrier (ASN)) is counted double. Turn it on only where the city really matters, and run daily price collection from plain Polish IPs.
The site often shows pickup and local offers based on the city the shopper selected, not only on the IP. Check in a clean profile and select the city manually if needed, otherwise saved settings will override the proxy address.
Ceneo rules and what to know in advance
- A proxy does not override Ceneo's rules: before collecting data, read the service's terms and its robots.txt file and follow them.
- We do not promise that the site will accept a particular address: the site makes its own access decisions.
- If Ceneo responds with a CAPTCHA or an error, lower the request rate instead of trying to solve the CAPTCHA.
- Collect only public data about products and shops. Shoppers' names and reviews are not needed for price monitoring, so do not store them.
- Do not copy Ceneo's database wholesale: take only the products that relate to your range.
- Do not click your own or other shops' offers during checks: shops pay for clicks on Ceneo.
How much traffic you need
A product page with photos and a list of offers weighs several megabytes. Price collection does not need images: turn off image loading and usage drops noticeably. Traffic is counted in both directions. The traffic calculator helps you estimate the volume, and the My IP tool confirms that your IP really is Polish. Purchased gigabytes never expire; prices are on the pricing page.

FAQ
Which proxies should I use for price monitoring on Ceneo?
Start with Polish datacenter IPs in the "Rotating (new IP per request)" mode. If the site often responds with a check, switch to residential ones.
Can I get this data without proxies?
Partly, yes: a shop sees click and cost statistics in its Ceneo panel, and products get there through the feed. Proxies are needed to see public listings and competitors' prices as a shopper in Poland sees them.
Do I need to set a city?
Usually not: prices on Ceneo are generally the same across the country. Set a city to check pickup and delivery, and keep in mind that traffic with precise geo is counted double.
How many threads should I run for collection?
Start with a few threads and pauses between requests, then increase gradually. A plan allows up to 1000 concurrent connections, but Ceneo usually does not need that many.
Do you guarantee access to Ceneo through a proxy?
No. Ceneo sets its own rules for access and data collection, and a proxy does not override them.
