Proxies for Job Sites
Vacancies and salaries on work.ua, robota.ua and foreign sites depend on the city and country. A proxy helps HR teams and analysts see the market by region, and helps recruiters sign in to an employer account from a stable address.
Who needs proxies for job sites and why
Job sites are one of the most accurate sources on the labor market: who is hiring, for which positions, at what salary and in which city. For the Ukrainian market these are first of all work.ua and robota.ua, and for foreign markets, international platforms and professional networks.
A proxy comes in handy for three tasks: collecting public vacancy data for salary and market research, tracking competitors' hiring, and managing an employer account from a stable address. All three stay within platform rules and personal data law.
Official API or export first
Before collecting data from pages, check whether the platform has an official option. Many job sites offer APIs for employers, partner exports, vacancy imports or ready-made market analytics. This is more reliable than crawling pages: the data comes in a clear format, and the terms are set out in advance.
If there is no such option or it does not cover your task, collect only public data and follow the site's rules. A proxy does not override those rules.
Salary and market research by city
Salaries and the number of vacancies vary greatly from city to city. To compare the market, people usually collect from public listings: the position, the city, the salary range, the employment type, the experience required, the publication date. This gives you a picture of demand by region and how it changes over the months.
Job sites often adapt results to the visitor's location. To see the market the way a job seeker in a particular city sees it, select Ukraine in the generator and a city in advanced mode: Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa. Keep in mind that traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or carrier (ASN)) is counted double. If the city is set by a filter on the site itself, a regular country selection is enough for collection.
Monitoring competitors' hiring
Competitors' vacancies say a lot about their plans: opening an office in a new city, hiring for a new line of business, rising salaries for key positions. Regularly review their employer pages and vacancies for the positions you care about, save the changes and compare them with your own offers.
For this kind of regular collection, the "Rotating (new IP per request)" mode works well: port 823 (HTTP) or 824 (SOCKS5) gives a new address for every request. A plan allows up to 1000 concurrent connections, but job sites do not need that many: work in a few threads, with pauses, and do not overload the platform. The general principles are described in the scraping and data collection use case.
You can start with datacenter proxies in Ukraine at $0.80 per GB. If the platform responds with a CAPTCHA or errors, first slow down, and then move to residential proxies in Ukraine at $1.59 per GB.
Resumes are personal data
Let us be clear: there is no need to collect resumes and candidates' personal data in bulk. The name, phone number, email, photo, workplace and experience in a resume are personal data, and their processing is regulated by law. Collecting such data in bulk without a legal basis is a legal question, not a technical one, and a proxy does not solve it.
Public vacancies and anonymized statistics are enough for market research. Work with candidates through the platform's official tools: access to the resume database on an employer plan, responses to your vacancies, messages inside the service.
Employer account from a stable address
Recruiters often manage accounts for several employers or work from another country. A platform is more at ease when sign-ins come from a stable address in the company's country rather than from a new IP every few minutes. In the generator, choose the "Sticky session" mode: ports 10000-20000 hold one address for 1 to 120 minutes, 30 by default.
Residential and mobile proxies suit employer accounts, with mobile ones at $2.50 per GB. A sticky residential or mobile IP can change before the time is up if the device goes offline; the port then gets a new address in the same country. If you have several accounts, keep each in a separate browser profile with its own port. Read more in the multi-accounting use case. Keep in mind that the platform's rules for employer accounts still apply as usual.
International platforms
If you hire abroad or research salaries in Poland, Germany and other countries, the principle is the same: an IP from the market's country, a clean profile without signing in for viewing results, and a stable address for the work account. There is a separate use case for working with the professional network: LinkedIn.
What to know in advance
- A proxy does not override the rules of job sites: the platform sets the terms for data collection and working with accounts.
- We do not promise that a site will accept a particular address: the site decides that itself.
- The pool is shared: another customer may have used an address before. The anonymity filter in the pool settings screens out IPs that sites have already flagged as proxies or VPNs.
- Pay for employer plans from your normal connection: banks and payment systems are closed through the proxy. See blocked sites.

Public vacancy data, yes, at a moderate pace and within the site's rules. First check whether the platform has an official API or partner export.
Can I collect candidates' resumes?
Not in bulk. Resumes contain personal data, and their processing is regulated by law. Work with candidates through the platform's official tools.
How can I see vacancies in a specific city?
Select Ukraine and a city in the generator's advanced mode: Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Kharkiv or Odesa. Traffic with precise geo is counted double.
Which proxy do I need for an employer account?
A residential or mobile IP from the company's country in the "Sticky session" mode, with each account in its own browser profile.
