Your dashboard generates ready-made lines in the format you need: choose the country, IP type and protocol.

A step-by-step guide to connecting Prokso proxies in VMLogin. It takes a few minutes.
Step 1. Get the proxy details from your dashboard
Open your plan and copy the host gw.prokso.com, port, username and password. Port 823 is HTTP and 824 is SOCKS5 (both give a new IP for every request); ports 10000–20000 keep one IP (sticky session) for up to 120 minutes and work as both HTTP and SOCKS5 (each port is a separate address). Set the country in the username: username__cr.ua.

Step 2. Open the proxy settings
Click New browser profile, open Setting proxy server under Basic configuration and turn on Enable proxy server.
Step 3. Choose the type and paste the details
Set the type to HTTP or Socks5. The quickest way is Paste proxy information: it fills the fields from a host:port:username:password or username:password@host:port line copied from the dashboard generator. Otherwise enter them by hand: address gw.prokso.com, a sticky port 10000–20000, username and password.
Step 4. Test the proxy
Click Test Proxy: VMLogin shows the proxy's IP address, location and time zone. Confirm with Confirm.
Step 5. Save the profile
Turn on Enable setting time zone based on IP and click Save profile.
Step 6. Check the IP inside the profile
Launch the profile and open the My IP page in its window: it should show the proxy's IP address and country. Your regular browser outside the profile shows your own IP — that's expected, the proxy only works inside the profile.
What to set up together with the proxy
A proxy changes the address but does not change the other attributes of the profile. Turning on time zone detection by IP solves the most common problem, a time mismatch. The language and geolocation should be set for the same country.
After saving, launch the profile and open the WebRTC leak test: your real address must not appear there.
If Test Proxy shows an error
- Enable proxy server is not turned on. In that case the fields below are not used.
- Paste proxy information split the string incorrectly. Check that the address field contains
gw.prokso.com, and correct the fields manually. - The type does not fit the port. HTTP is 823, Socks5 is 824; sticky ports work with both.
- The plan has run out of traffic. The remaining traffic is shown in your dashboard.
FAQ
Which WebRTC mode should I choose?
VMLogin has Real mode, Replacement mode and two disable modes. With a proxy, <b>Replacement mode</b> fits: WebRTC shows the proxy address instead of yours. You can verify it on the <a href="/en/tools/webrtc-leak-test">WebRTC leak test</a> page.
How do I assign proxies to many profiles?
Select the profiles, right-click and choose <b>Batch import proxy to the selected profile</b>. The TXT file holds lines of <code>type:host:port:username:password</code>, e.g. <code>SOCKS5:gw.prokso.com:10001:username:password</code>.
The time zone in Test Proxy does not match what I expected. Is that an error?
No. The databases that determine a location by IP disagree at the city level. The country is determined reliably, while the city and the time zone inside a large country are approximate.
Can I copy a profile together with its proxy?
You can, but the copy will get the same proxy and the same IP. For a second account, replace the string with a different one.
