Your dashboard generates ready-made lines in the format you need: choose the country, IP type and protocol.

Key takeaways
  • Host gw.prokso.com, ports 823 (HTTP), 824 (SOCKS5), 10000–20000 (sticky sessions, HTTP or SOCKS5)
  • The username and password are in your dashboard on the plan page
  • After setup, check your IP on the My IP page

A step-by-step guide to connecting Prokso proxies in MuLogin. It takes a few minutes.

Step 1. Get the proxy details from your dashboard

Open your plan and copy the host gw.prokso.com, port, username and password. Port 823 is HTTP and 824 is SOCKS5 (both give a new IP for every request); ports 10000–20000 keep one IP (sticky session) for up to 120 minutes and work as both HTTP and SOCKS5 (each port is a separate address). Set the country in the username: username__cr.ua.

Step 2. Add a browser

Open Browser Manage → Browser List and click Add browser.

Step 3. Open Proxy settings

Find Proxy settings under Basic Configuration and choose the type: HTTP or SOCKS5.

Step 4. Fill in the fields

IP address: gw.prokso.com, Port: a sticky port from 10000–20000, Login user and Login password: your plan credentials.

Step 5. Check and save

Click the check button (Check the network): MuLogin shows the IP and the country or region. Then save the profile.

Step 6. Check the IP inside the profile

Launch the profile and open the My IP page in its window: it should show the proxy's IP address and country. Your regular browser outside the profile shows your own IP — that's expected, the proxy only works inside the profile.

When and how to change a profile's proxy

While the session is active, there is no need to change the string: when it ends, a new IP will be assigned to the port automatically. A replacement is needed in two cases: a different country or a different proxy type.

For an account with a history, a change of country is a noticeable event: the site may ask you to confirm the login. Change the country only when necessary, and do not do it in the middle of work in the account.

If Check the network shows an error

  • The type does not match the port. 823 is HTTP, 824 is SOCKS5; sticky ports take both types.
  • A port ended up in the IP address field. The host and the port are separate fields.
  • Login user or Login password was copied with a space. Paste it again.
  • The port is closed in the network. Test the string in the proxy checker.

FAQ

Can I change the proxy of an existing profile?

Yes. In the browser list the quick operation toolbar has a proxy icon that opens the same fields as during creation.

The check fails. What should I do?

Make sure the connection type matches the port: 823 is HTTP only, 824 is SOCKS5 only; ports 10000–20000 accept both HTTP and SOCKS5. Check that the username and password were copied without spaces and that your plan is active.

The check shows a different country. Why?

A string for a different country was pasted: the country is written in the username. Generate the string again and update the username in the profile.

How many profiles can I run at the same time on one plan?

A plan allows up to 1000 simultaneous connections. The limit is more likely to be traffic: every open profile spends it.
