Mobile addresses in Brazil are scarce so far — 73. If you need more addresses for accounts, use residential ones: there are 48,436.

pt-BR, reais and google.com.br: what a Brazilian user looks like

Brazil is the largest online market in Latin America, and it speaks Portuguese. But it is the Brazilian variety, so the main browser language is pt-BR. Do not confuse it with pt-PT: Portuguese from Portugal looks unnatural on a Brazilian account, and a Spanish locale looks even stranger.

Search goes through google.com.br, and prices are shown in reais: the R$ sign before the amount, a comma instead of a dot for decimals and a dot between thousands. Mercado Livre, Shopee, OLX Brasil: where a Brazilian IP is needed

Shopping in Brazil happens on Mercado Livre, Shopee, Magazine Luiza (Magalu) and Americanas, while second-hand goods and services go through OLX Brasil. Many sellers move customers to WhatsApp, and marketplaces often show a price split into several installments right away. Prices and delivery depend on the region you connect from.

• Marketplaces. Analyzing listings and competitors on Mercado Livre, Shopee and Magalu — proxies for marketplaces.
• Price monitoring. Collecting prices in reais by category and state — price monitoring.
• Classifieds. OLX Brasil shows offers nearby, so one stable city matters for an account.

For accounts and price checks, residential proxies fit: residential IPs from Brazilian internet providers, $1.59 per GB. For bulk scraping of large catalogs, datacenter proxies (server proxies) are enough, $0.80 per GB.

Social media and ads: Brazil lives on smartphones

Brazilians use social media heavily from their phones. So for Instagram and TikTok accounts, mobile proxies look the most natural: 4G/LTE carrier IPs, $2.50 per GB. Details are on the Instagram and TikTok pages.

Brazil is a popular GEO in affiliate marketing. Proxies let you see creatives and landing pages through a local user's eyes, including in Facebook Ads and YouTube. Check ads from the state they target: targeting São Paulo and targeting the northeast produce different ads.

Four time zones: São Paulo, Recife, Manaus

Brazil has four time zones and currently no daylight saving time. The main one is America/Sao_Paulo (UTC−3), used by São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Belo Horizonte. The northeast has the same offset but separate names in the time zone database: Recife is America/Recife, Fortaleza is America/Fortaleza, and Salvador is America/Bahia.

Manaus and most of the Amazon region are one hour behind, on America/Manaus (UTC−4), and so is Cuiabá (America/Cuiaba). The state of Acre uses America/Rio_Branco (UTC−5), and the Fernando de Noronha islands use America/Noronha (UTC−2). So the profile's time zone should match the city of the IP, not just the country. Cities and states: choosing geo in advanced mode

Brazil is almost as large as Europe, and results in São Paulo and Manaus differ: delivery costs, warehouses and regional ads all change. In the generator's advanced mode, the city is added to the username:

The city name is written in Latin letters, with no spaces or hyphens. The largest cities:

• São Paulo — city.saopaulo: the business hub and the largest market for ads.
• Rio de Janeiro — city.riodejaneiro
• Brasília — city.brasilia: the capital.
• Salvador — city.salvador: the state of Bahia, America/Bahia.
• Fortaleza — city.fortaleza
• Belo Horizonte — city.belohorizonte
• Curitiba — city.curitiba
• Manaus — city.manaus: the Amazon region, America/Manaus.
• Recife — city.recife: the northeast, America/Recife.
• Porto Alegre — city.portoalegre: the south of the country.

Rotation or one IP: how to connect

Proxies are generated in your dashboard: pick the country, the protocol (HTTP(S) or SOCKS5) and the line format, then download the list as a .txt file. The host is gw.prokso.com. For Mercado Livre or social media accounts, use the "Sticky session" mode: ports 10000–20000, where the address is held for 1 to 120 minutes, 30 by default. For price collection, the "Rotating (new IP per request)" mode fits: port 823 (HTTP) or 824 (SOCKS5).

For software that can't send a username and password, add up to five of your own IPs to the plan and access works without a password. One plan handles up to 1,000 concurrent connections, which is enough to scrape several marketplaces in parallel.

If you run ad accounts and scraping separately, give each its own plan with its own traffic limit. That way Brazilian spend is visible on its own, and an email or Telegram notification reminds you when the gigabytes run low. Traffic does not expire, so you can top up for a campaign later.

How to buy Brazil proxies

To buy Brazilian proxy servers, create a plan, choose “Brazil” in the generator and pick HTTP or SOCKS5. Residential IPs in Brazil cost $1.59 per GB, mobile $2.50 and datacenter $0.80; the price is the same for every country. Pay with crypto; the traffic you buy never expires.

Good to know for any country

• The pool is shared: another customer may have used an address before. The anonymity filter in pool settings removes IPs that sites already flag as proxy or VPN.
• The country is free. Traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or ISP) is billed ×2: 1 GB of such traffic uses 2 GB of your plan, we add nothing.
• Availability in a specific city changes during the day. If there are no free addresses, remove the city or pick a neighbouring one.
• In a sticky session, the IP of a home or mobile device can change before the session expires — when the device goes offline.
