A step-by-step guide to connecting Prokso proxies in ClonBrowser. It takes a few minutes.
Step 1. Get the proxy details from your dashboard
Open your plan and copy the host gw.prokso.com, port, username and password. Port 823 is HTTP and 824 is SOCKS5 (both give a new IP for every request); ports 10000–20000 keep one IP (sticky session) for up to 120 minutes and work as both HTTP and SOCKS5 (each port is a separate address). Set the country in the username: username__cr.ua.
Step 2. Create a proxy
Open Proxy Management and click New. Choose HTTP or SOCKS, enter the host gw.prokso.com, a sticky port 10000-20000, and the username and password from the dashboard.
Step 3. Check the connection
Click Check Network: ClonBrowser checks whether the proxy responds. Then save it.
Step 4. Link the proxy to a profile
In Browser Environment Management hover over the proxy column of the profile you need, click Set Proxy and choose Existing Proxy - the proxy you created.
Step 5. Match the fingerprint to the IP
In the fingerprint settings choose Follow IP for the time zone, geolocation, interface language and Accept-Language - then they will match the address's country.
Step 6. If the proxy doesn't connect
Check three things: the host gw.prokso.com without extra spaces, a port from 10000-20000, and the type - HTTP or SOCKS5, as selected in the program. A 407 error means a wrong username or password, or the plan has run out of traffic: check the balance on the plan page in the dashboard. A timeout usually means the port was entered with a typo or the program expects a different protocol. And if the address works but the site asks for extra confirmations, check that the profile's time zone and language match the IP country and that the same port is not set in several profiles at once.
Step 7. Check that it works
Open the My IP page: it should show the proxy's IP address and country, not yours. If the connection fails, double-check the port and protocol, and look up error codes on the Error codes page.
FAQ
How do I add many proxies at once?
Proxy Management has <b>Batch Add Proxy</b>: paste the lines, click Parse, check them with the PING button and confirm. ClonBrowser shows the line format right in the window.
What does Direct Connection mean?
A profile without a proxy: websites will see your real address. For working with accounts, choose a proxy.
How do I choose the address country?
The country is set by the username. Choose a country in the dashboard generator - a parameter like <code>__cr.de</code> is added to the username. Copy the whole username into the ClonBrowser username field.
