Key takeaways
 • Host gw.prokso.com, ports 823 (HTTP), 824 (SOCKS5), 10000–20000 (sticky sessions, HTTP or SOCKS5)
 • The username and password are in your dashboard on the plan page
 • After setup, check your IP on the My IP page

A step-by-step guide to connecting Prokso proxies in GeeLark. It takes a few minutes.

Step 1. Get the proxy details from your dashboard

Open your plan and copy the host gw.prokso.com, port, username and password. Port 823 is HTTP and 824 is SOCKS5 (both give a new IP for every request); ports 10000–20000 keep one IP (sticky session) for up to 120 minutes and work as both HTTP and SOCKS5 (each port is a separate address). Set the country in the username: username__cr.ua.

Step 2. Create a profile

On the Profiles tab click New Profile and find the proxy block in the form.

Step 3. Choose a custom proxy

Select Custom to enter a new proxy. Type: HTTP or SOCKS5.

Step 4. Fill in the details

Host: gw.prokso.com, port: a sticky one from 10000–20000, username and password: from your plan in the dashboard.

Step 5. Set the region by IP

GeeLark recommends setting the profile region and language by the proxy IP (Based on IP), so they match the address's country.

Step 6. Check the proxy in GeeLark

Click Check proxy in the profile form: GeeLark checks the connection and the IP location. After the cloud phone starts, open the My IP page in its browser — it should show the proxy's address and country.

What is special about a cloud phone

A GeeLark profile runs not on your computer but in the cloud. Two things follow from this. First: the IP whitelist (no password) will not work, because a cloud device does not go out from your address. Use a username and password.

Second: you need to check the IP in the browser of the cloud phone itself. The My IP page on your computer will show your own address and will tell you nothing about the profile.

Which proxy type to take

A cloud phone is a mobile device, and a mobile address looks the most natural for it. Residential ones are suitable too. Datacenter addresses stand out more than the others in mobile apps. A comparison of the types is on the pricing page.

If Check proxy shows an error

 • The type does not match the port. 823 is HTTP, 824 is SOCKS5; sticky ports take either.
 • A space in the username or password. Copy them again.
 • Custom is not selected. Otherwise a proxy that has nothing to do with your plan is used.
 • The plan has run out of traffic. The remaining traffic is shown in your dashboard.

FAQ

How do I add several proxies at once?

In the Proxies section click Add proxy and paste lines one per row in
type://host:port:username:password
format, e.g.
socks5://gw.prokso.com:10001:username:password
. Then pick the proxy from Saved proxies in the profile.

Will rotating proxies work?

GeeLark supports both static and rotating proxies. For accounts a sticky 10000–20000 port is handier: the address is kept for up to 120 minutes.

Does a cloud phone spend traffic in the background?

Yes. Apps update and sync just as they do on an ordinary phone. Stop the cloud phone when you do not need it.

The profile region does not match the proxy country. What should I do?

Check that the region and language are set to the Based on IP option, and run the proxy check once more.
