Your dashboard generates ready-made lines in the format you need: choose the country, IP type and protocol.

Key takeaways
 • Host gw.prokso.com, ports 823 (HTTP), 824 (SOCKS5), 10000–20000 (sticky sessions, HTTP or SOCKS5)
 • The username and password are in your dashboard on the plan page
 • After setup, check your IP on the My IP page

A step-by-step guide to connecting Prokso proxies in DICloak. It takes a few minutes.

Step 1. Get the proxy details from your dashboard

Open your plan and copy the host gw.prokso.com, port, username and password. Port 823 is HTTP and 824 is SOCKS5 (both give a new IP for every request); ports 10000–20000 keep one IP (sticky session) for up to 120 minutes and work as both HTTP and SOCKS5 (each port is a separate address). Set the country in the username: username__cr.ua.

Step 2. Open the Proxies section

Choose Proxies in the left sidebar and click Create Proxy. Use the Custom Proxy method.

Step 3. Fill in the fields

Proxy Type: HTTP or SOCKS5. Proxy Host: gw.prokso.com, Proxy Port: a sticky port from 10000–20000, Proxy Account and Proxy Password: your plan credentials. Remarks is optional, for your own note.

Step 4. Check and save

Click Checking Proxy, wait for the result and save the proxy with Confirm.

Step 5. Attach it to a profile

In the profile form choose Saved Proxies in the proxy block and pick the proxy you just added. Save the profile.

Step 6. Check the IP inside the profile

Launch the profile and open the My IP page in its window: it should show the proxy's IP address and country. Your regular browser outside the profile shows your own IP — that's expected, the proxy only works inside the profile.

Saved proxies and teamwork

The Saved Proxies list is shared across the workspace: a proxy added once can be assigned to profiles without entering the details again. Use the Remarks field as a label: the account, the country, the date. A month later you will no longer remember what is what from the host string alone.

When a team works with the profiles, agree on a rule: one proxy for one account. Otherwise two people will assign one proxy to different accounts, and those accounts will end up sharing an IP.

If Checking Proxy shows an error

 • Proxy Type and the port do not go together. 823 is HTTP, 824 is SOCKS5; sticky ports work with both.
 • A space in Proxy Account or Proxy Password. Paste the details again.
 • Something other than Custom Proxy is selected. Check the method used to add the proxy.
 • The plan has run out of traffic. The remaining traffic is shown in your dashboard.

The codes that a site returns are explained on the proxy error codes page.

FAQ

Can I add proxies as a list?

Yes: the Proxies section has Batch Create (one proxy per line; the dialog shows the format) and template import via More → Batch import. According to DICloak's documentation, bulk operations require a paid plan.

The check fails. What should I do?

Make sure the connection type matches the port: 823 is HTTP only, 824 is SOCKS5 only; ports 10000–20000 accept both HTTP and SOCKS5. Check that the username and password were copied without spaces and that your plan is active.

What happens to a profile if I delete a saved proxy?

The profile will be left without a proxy. Assign another one to it before deleting, otherwise it will go online from your own address at launch.

Do I need to update a saved proxy after the session ends?

No, the entry is the same. Only the IP assigned to the port changes.
