Germany ranks #14 worldwide by the number of residential IPs in our pool.

There are 305 mobile addresses in Germany right now — for accounts, use a sticky-session port (10000–20000) per profile.

There are 10,882 datacenter addresses in Germany. They are cheaper ($0.80 per GB), but sites with strict checks block them more often.

Amazon.de, eBay.de and Idealo: prices as a German shopper sees them

German online retail rests on a handful of large platforms. Amazon.de and eBay.de adjust delivery cost, delivery times and seller offers to the visitor's location. Idealo and Check24 compare prices across many shops, Otto sells with delivery across the country, and Kleinanzeigen collects classified ads from private sellers.

If you sell on Amazon.de from abroad, a German IP shows your listing the way a local buyer sees it: who holds the Buy Box, what delivery costs, and who sits next to you in the results. Prices on German sites are shown in euros, with a comma before the cents and the € sign after the amount. Teach your monitoring script to parse exactly that format from the start.

For bulk price collection from Idealo or shop catalogues, datacenter (server) proxies at $0.80 per GB are usually enough. Details are on the datacenter proxies page and in the price monitoring section.

Amazon.de is noticeably stricter with datacenter addresses. When captchas appear there, move those requests to residential proxies at $1.59 per GB, which are residential IPs of German internet providers. The residential proxies page covers them, and scenarios for selling platforms are collected in the marketplaces section.

Google.de and cookie consent banners

Google.de builds results for a German user, so track rankings of a German-language site from a local address. From another country you will see a different set of sites and foreign ads. For regular rank tracking, rotation is convenient: port 823 (HTTP) or 824 (SOCKS5) issues a new German address on every request.

The second German peculiarity is cookie consent pop-ups. Under GDPR, sites in the EU ask permission to collect data, and German banners are often very detailed, with separate switches for analytics, advertising and third-party services. Until consent is given, part of the page may not load or may appear in a reduced form.

For a scraper, this means the banner has to be either closed or taken into account when parsing the HTML. Manual work is simpler: the choice is stored in the browser profile's cookies. So if you always open the site from the same profile, the banner will not show up again.

From Berlin to Munich: cities and federal states

Germany is divided into sixteen federal states, and large markets are spread across the whole country. Without a filter, the address can land anywhere from Schleswig-Holstein to Bavaria. To pin it to a city, switch the generator to advanced mode and find the city in the list.

In the username, the city follows the country code: USERNAME__cr.de;city.berlin, USERNAME__cr.de;city.hamburg or USERNAME__cr.de;city.frankfurtammain. Umlauts in names are replaced with two Latin letters, so Cologne is written as city.koeln and Düsseldorf as city.duesseldorf. Munich, on the other hand, is listed under its English name city.munich, so it is safer to copy the name from the generator than to guess it.

The city matters wherever results depend on distance. Kleinanzeigen searches ads within a radius of the user, and local advertising is often aimed at a specific state or city. Frankfurt am Main is the country's financial centre, Berlin is the capital of start-ups and media, and Hamburg and Munich are the largest markets of the north and the south.

Telekom, Vodafone or O2: network by ASN

Most home and mobile connections in Germany run through the networks of three companies. In the generator's advanced mode, you set the network you need by its ASN:

  • Deutsche Telekom — AS3320, the largest operator in the country, covering both home internet and mobile;
  • Vodafone Germany — AS3209;
  • Telefónica O2 Germany — AS6805.

Pinning a network helps when an account has logged in through one provider for years. New logins from the same network look familiar to the site. Which networks are available at a given minute depends on the pool.

With mobile proxies ($2.50 per GB) you go online from IPs of German 4G/LTE carriers. People use them for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts with a German audience and for media buying on German geo. Details are on the mobile proxies page and in the sections on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook ad accounts.

A browser profile on Berlin time

Set up an antidetect profile for Germany so that it does not contradict the address:

  • time zone: Europe/Berlin, the single zone for the whole country, from Hamburg to Munich;
  • language: de-DE, with English added as a second language if needed;
  • geolocation and WebRTC: based on the proxy IP; you can see the result on the My IP page.

Working inside an account needs a stable address, so in the generator choose "Sticky session" instead of "Rotating (new IP per request)". Ports 10000–20000 hold one IP for 1 to 120 minutes, 30 by default. Another option is a session number in the username in advanced mode: the address on 823/824 then stays for about 30 minutes.

If you run separate projects, such as a shop on Amazon.de and social media pages, create a separate plan for each. Every plan has its own username and traffic balance, and it allows up to 1,000 concurrent connections. Ready-made setups for AdsPower, Octo Browser, Multilogin and others are in the guides.

How to buy Germany proxies

To buy German proxy servers, create a plan, choose “Germany” in the generator and pick HTTP or SOCKS5. Residential IPs in Germany cost $1.59 per GB, mobile $2.50 and datacenter $0.80; the price is the same for every country. Pay with crypto; the traffic you buy never expires.

Good to know for any country

  • The pool is shared: another customer may have used an address before. The anonymity filter in pool settings removes IPs that sites already flag as proxy or VPN.
  • The country is free. Traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or ISP) is billed ×2: 1 GB of such traffic uses 2 GB of your plan, we add nothing.
  • Availability in a specific city changes during the day. If there are no free addresses, remove the city or pick a neighbouring one.
  • In a sticky session, the IP of a home or mobile device can change before the session expires — when the device goes offline.
  • The proxies carry TCP only: messenger calls and online games don't work. Some sites are closed to all customers — see the blocked sites page.
