Your dashboard generates ready-made lines in the format you need: choose the country, IP type and protocol.
- Host gw.prokso.com, ports 823 (HTTP), 824 (SOCKS5), 10000–20000 (sticky sessions, HTTP or SOCKS5)
- The username and password are in your dashboard on the plan page
- After setup, check your IP on the My IP page
A step-by-step guide to connecting Prokso proxies in ixBrowser. It takes a few minutes.
Step 1. Get the proxy details from your dashboard
Open your plan and copy the host gw.prokso.com, port, username and password. Port 823 is HTTP and 824 is SOCKS5 (both give a new IP for every request); ports 10000–20000 keep one IP (sticky session) for up to 120 minutes and work as both HTTP and SOCKS5 (each port is a separate address). Set the country in the username: username__cr.ua.

Step 2. Create a profile
Click Create Profile, choose the platform and group, name the profile and click Next step.
Step 3. Open the proxy settings
On the Proxy Configuration tab choose the Custom method and set Proxy Type to HTTP or SOCKS5, the same as in the dashboard generator.
Step 4. Fill in the fields
Proxy Host: gw.prokso.com, Port: a sticky port from 10000–20000, Proxy Account: the username, Proxy Password: the plan password.
Step 5. Check and save
Click Proxy Detection, wait for the result and save the profile. Launch it from the profile list with Open.
Step 6. Check the IP inside the profile
Launch the profile and open the My IP page in its window: it should show the proxy's IP address and country. Your regular browser outside the profile shows your own IP — that's expected, the proxy only works inside the profile.
A team and several computers
If several people work with the profiles, authentication with a username and password is more convenient: the string works the same from any computer. The IP whitelist (no password) is tied to the addresses the connection comes from, and a plan allows no more than five of them.
A profile opened on another computer goes out from the same proxy IP, so the site sees no difference. The main thing is that two people do not launch the same profile at the same time.
If Proxy Detection shows an error
- Proxy Type does not match the port. 823 is HTTP, 824 is SOCKS5; sticky ports work with both.
- A space got into Proxy Account. Copy the username from the generator once more.
- Something other than Custom is selected. The other methods use proxies from ixBrowser itself or its partners, not your plan.
- The traffic has run out. Check the remaining traffic in your dashboard.
FAQ
How do I add many proxies at once?
Open Proxy Resources → Static Proxy → Batch Operations → Add in Batches and paste lines in
host:port:username:password
format, one per line. In the dashboard generator this is the host:port:username:password format.
The check fails. What should I do?
Make sure the connection type matches the port: 823 is HTTP only, 824 is SOCKS5 only; ports 10000–20000 accept both HTTP and SOCKS5. Check that the username and password were copied without spaces and that your plan is active.
How do I change the proxy for a group of profiles at once?
Select the profiles in the list and use the bulk proxy change. There must be as many strings as there are profiles, otherwise several profiles will get the same IP.
The IP in the profile is not the one the check showed. Why?
The session may have ended between the check and the launch, and a new IP was assigned to the port. The country stays the same.
