Your dashboard generates ready-made lines in the format you need: choose the country, IP type and protocol.

Key takeaways
  • Host gw.prokso.com, ports 823 (HTTP), 824 (SOCKS5), 10000–20000 (sticky sessions, HTTP or SOCKS5)
  • The username and password are in your dashboard on the plan page
  • After setup, check your IP on the My IP page

A step-by-step guide to connecting Prokso proxies in Lalicat. It takes a few minutes.

Step 1. Get the proxy details from your dashboard

Open your plan and copy the host gw.prokso.com, port, username and password. Port 823 is HTTP and 824 is SOCKS5 (both give a new IP for every request); ports 10000–20000 keep one IP (sticky session) for up to 120 minutes and work as both HTTP and SOCKS5 (each port is a separate address). Set the country in the username: username__cr.ua.

Step 2. Add a profile

Click Add browser and open the Basic Configuration block.

Step 3. Choose the proxy type

In Proxy settings, instead of the direct connection mode choose the type: HTTP or Sock5.

Step 4. Fill in the fields

IP address: gw.prokso.com, Port: a sticky port from 10000–20000, and put your plan credentials into the proxy username and password fields.

Step 5. Check the connection

Click Check the network. Green text with the IP address and country means the proxy works; red means an error. Save the profile.

Step 6. Check the IP inside the profile

Launch the profile and open the My IP page in its window: it should show the proxy's IP address and country. Your regular browser outside the profile shows your own IP — that's expected, the proxy only works inside the profile.

What the check result means

A green message says that the proxy responded, and it shows the IP with the country. It does not guarantee that a particular site will accept the request: every site has its own rules. If the check is green but the site does not open, the cause is in the site itself or in the profile settings.

A red message means that the connection to the proxy was not established. In that case the problem is in the proxy details or in the network.

If the message is red

  • The type does not fit the port. HTTP is 823, Sock5 is 824; sticky ports 10000-20000 work with both.
  • A space in the username or password. Copy them from the generator once more.
  • Direct connection mode is still selected. Choose a proxy type.
  • The traffic has run out. Check the remaining traffic in your dashboard.
  • The port is closed in your network. Try another network.

If the site responds with an error code, it is explained on the proxy error codes page.

FAQ

What should I set up together with the proxy?

Lalicat can set the profile time zone and language by the proxy IP — turn these on so they match the address's country. WebRTC is disabled in a profile by default; the documentation recommends the replace mode.

The check fails. What should I do?

Make sure the connection type matches the port: 823 is HTTP only, 824 is SOCKS5 only; ports 10000–20000 accept both HTTP and SOCKS5. Check that the username and password were copied without spaces and that your plan is active.

The IP in the check and the IP in the profile are different. Is that normal?

Yes, if the session ended between the check and the launch. The country will stay the same.

Can I use one port in two profiles?

You can, but they will share one IP, and the site will link the accounts. Give each profile its own port.
