India ranks #21 worldwide by the number of residential IPs in our pool.

There are 2,223 mobile addresses in India right now — for accounts, use a sticky-session port (10000–20000) per profile.

There are 2,451 datacenter addresses in India. They are cheaper ($0.80 per GB), but sites with strict checks block them more often.

Scale and languages: why India cannot be checked from Europe

India is one of the largest internet markets in the world, and most people there go online from a smartphone. There are two official languages, Hindi and English, alongside Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and other regional languages. Sites adapt the interface language, prices in rupees and offers to this. If you open Flipkart or Amazon.in from a European IP, you do not see the storefront the way a shopper in Mumbai does.

That is why, for analytics, the request has to come from an Indian network, and the browser language has to match the audience. Use en-IN for an English-speaking account and hi-IN for an account that "lives" in Hindi. For most commercial sites, English with an Indian locale looks perfectly normal.

Flipkart, Amazon.in and prices in rupees

Indian addresses are mostly used for marketplaces: that means checking listings, prices and stock on Flipkart, Amazon.in, Meesho and Myntra. Delivery, timing and some offers depend on the buyer's region, so you need to look from India. More on the proxies for marketplaces page.

For these jobs, choose residential proxies. These are residential IPs of Indian internet providers, $1.59 per GB. For regular collection of competitor prices in rupees, connect to port 823 (HTTP) or 824 (SOCKS5): every request goes out from a new address. The setup is described in price monitoring.

Google.co.in, Hindi queries and ads targeted at India

Indian Google results live on the google.co.in domain. The same topic gives different results for an English query and a Hindi query, so check both. Track rankings from an Indian IP with a matching browser language, see proxies for SEO.

For bulk checks of search results and scraping public pages, datacenter proxies, also called server proxies, are enough. This is the cheapest option, $0.80 per GB. Sites with strict checks filter them out more often, so keep residential ones for marketplaces.

Another typical job is checking ads targeted at India. You see how ads and landing pages appear to an Indian audience, which currency the price is in and which language the page uses. This is routine work in affiliate marketing.

Mobile internet and social media

Since most people in India use the internet from a phone, a mobile IP looks completely natural to local services. Mobile proxies are 4G/LTE carrier addresses, $2.50 per GB. They suit accounts with an Indian audience on Instagram, YouTube or Facebook, where logins should come from the same country. See Instagram and Facebook ad accounts.

You can set the carrier too. If you know the ASN of the Indian provider you need, enter it in the generator's advanced mode. Which carriers are available right now depends on the pool.

Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai: the city and the local language

The country is huge, and results in Delhi and Chennai can differ: different warehouses, delivery times and local ads. Choosing the country costs nothing extra, and the city is set in the generator's advanced mode. It goes into the username like this: USERNAME__cr.in;city.mumbai. Write the name in Latin letters, without spaces or hyphens.

The largest cities people usually work with:

• Mumbai — city.mumbai, the financial capital, local language Marathi;
• Delhi — city.delhi, the capital region, mostly Hindi;
• Bengaluru — city.bengaluru, the IT hub, Kannada;
• Hyderabad — city.hyderabad, Telugu;
• Chennai — city.chennai, the south, Tamil;
• Kolkata — city.kolkata, the east, Bengali;
• Pune — city.pune, Marathi.

It pays to combine the city with the language. If you check regional ads or content in Tamil, take Chennai, and for Bengali take Kolkata.

Asia/Kolkata and UTC+5:30: an antidetect profile for India

All of India uses one time zone, Asia/Kolkata, UTC+5:30. Watch that half hour: if your antidetect browser sets UTC+5 or UTC+6, sites will notice the mismatch. Do not bounce an account between countries. If a profile logged in from Bengaluru for weeks and then suddenly shows up from Europe, that invites a check. For accounts use the "Sticky session" mode: ports 10000–20000 keep one address for 1 to 120 minutes, 30 by default. For data collection the "Rotating (new IP per request)" mode fits.

In the generator, choose the country "India", the protocol HTTP(S) or SOCKS5, and a line format such as username:password@host:port. The list downloads as a .txt file. If your software cannot work with a username and password, add up to 5 of your own IP addresses to the plan. How to buy India proxies

To buy Indian proxy servers, create a plan, choose “India” in the generator and pick HTTP or SOCKS5. Residential IPs in India cost $1.59 per GB, mobile $2.50 and datacenter $0.80; the price is the same for every country. Pay with crypto; the traffic you buy never expires.

Good to know for any country

• The pool is shared: another customer may have used an address before. The anonymity filter in pool settings removes IPs that sites already flag as proxy or VPN.
• The country is free. Traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or ISP) is billed ×2: 1 GB of such traffic uses 2 GB of your plan, we add nothing.
• Availability in a specific city changes during the day. If there are no free addresses, remove the city or pick a neighbouring one.
• In a sticky session, the IP of a home or mobile device can change before the session expires — when the device goes offline.
• The proxies carry TCP only: messenger calls and online games don't work. Some sites are closed to all customers — see the blocked sites page.
