Turkey ranks #17 worldwide by the number of residential IPs in our pool.

There are 375 mobile addresses in Turkey right now — for accounts, use a sticky-session port (10000–20000) per profile.

There are 1,607 datacenter addresses in Turkey. They are cheaper ($0.80 per GB), but sites with strict checks block them more often.

What a shopper in Istanbul sees on Trendyol and Hepsiburada

Turkish e-commerce runs on its own platforms. Trendyol, Hepsiburada and N11 show prices, promotions and stock based on where a visitor comes from. Sahibinden, the country's largest classifieds site, returns different results by region. If you open these sites from Kyiv or Warsaw, you do not see what a shopper in Istanbul sees.

A visitor from Istanbul sees prices in Turkish lira, local offers, Turkish banners and local delivery terms. A visitor from abroad often gets a different storefront: sometimes in English, sometimes with restrictions or without some of the discounts. That is why, for analytics, the request has to come from a Turkish network and not from a VPN server in a neighbouring country.

For marketplaces the main option is residential proxies. These are residential IPs of Turkish internet providers, so the site sees an ordinary subscriber at home. The price is $1.59 per GB. For daily price and catalogue collection, connect to port 823 (HTTP) or 824 (SOCKS5): there every request goes out from a new address. Details are in price monitoring and marketplaces.

Delivery services such as Getir and Yemeksepeti work the same way: their range, menus and terms are tied to the address and district. With a Turkish IP you see them the way a local customer does.

Google.com.tr and ads targeted at Turkey

Turkish Google results live on the google.com.tr domain. Rankings there depend on the language of the query and on the country it comes from. To get real rankings for Turkish queries, the check has to run from a Turkish IP with the browser language set to Turkish.

For bulk SEO checks, datacenter proxies, also called server proxies, are enough. This is the cheapest type: $0.80 per GB. It suits checking search results and scraping sites without strict anti-bot protection, see datacenter proxies, SEO and scraping.

The second common job is checking ads targeted at Turkey in Google or Facebook. You look at whether the ad shows, what the creative looks like and where the link goes. Open the landing page from a Turkish IP too: some pages show a local visitor a different price in lira or a different version of the offer. More on this in affiliate marketing.

Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya: the city in the username

Choosing the country costs nothing extra. If you need a specific city, switch the generator to advanced mode and put the city in the username: USERNAME__cr.tr;city.istanbul. Write the name in Latin letters, without spaces or hyphens. Turkish letters are simplified: ı becomes i, ş becomes s, ç becomes c, ğ is simply dropped, and ü and ö are written as ue and oe.

The most requested cities:

  • Istanbul — city.istanbul, the largest city and the country's main market;
  • Ankara — city.ankara, the capital;
  • Izmir — city.izmir, the hub of the Aegean coast;
  • Bursa — city.bursa, a manufacturing centre in the north-west;
  • Antalya — city.antalya, the resort coast, handy for checking travel offers;
  • Adana — city.adana, the south of the country.

For the centre and the east there are, for example, Konya — city.konya and Gaziantep — city.gaziantep. The difference between cities shows in delivery, local ads and Sahibinden listings. If you analyse the property or car market, compare the results for Istanbul and Ankara.

Turkcell, Vodafone TR or Türk Telekom: a mobile network for social media

For multi-accounting on social networks and for ad accounts, choose mobile proxies. These are addresses of Turkish 4G/LTE carriers, $2.50 per GB. Platforms watch IPs closely, and a mobile carrier address looks natural to them. Setup tips are in Instagram, TikTok and Facebook Ads.

Turkey has three major carriers, and in advanced mode you can pick one by its ASN:

  • Turkcell — ASN 16135;
  • Vodafone TR — ASN 15924;
  • Türk Telekom — ASN 9121.

Choosing a carrier helps when you need to check how a site or an ad behaves for subscribers of a specific network. It also helps when an Instagram, TikTok or Telegram account has always logged in through one carrier. Which carriers are available right now depends on the pool.

A Turkish antidetect profile: Europe/Istanbul and tr-TR

All of Turkey uses one time zone, Europe/Istanbul. It is UTC+3 all year round, with no daylight saving time. Set exactly this zone in your antidetect browser, and set the browser language to tr-TR if the account belongs to a "local" user.

A mismatch between IP, time zone and language is one of the first signals social networks look at. You can check what a site sees, including WebRTC, on the My IP page.

Accounts need a stable address. Ports 10000–20000 keep a fixed IP on each port for 1 to 120 minutes, 30 by default. In the generator this is the "Sticky session" mode, while data collection uses "Rotating (new IP per request)". Guides for AdsPower, Dolphin Anty and other browsers are in the guides section.

Do not jump an account between countries: Turkey today, Poland tomorrow is a bad idea. If a profile works with a Turkish audience, keep it in one country and, if needed, in one city.

How to buy Turkey proxies

To buy Turkish proxy servers, create a plan, choose “Turkey” in the generator and pick HTTP or SOCKS5. Residential IPs in Turkey cost $1.59 per GB, mobile $2.50 and datacenter $0.80; the price is the same for every country. Pay with crypto; the traffic you buy never expires.

Good to know for any country

  • The pool is shared: another customer may have used an address before. The anonymity filter in pool settings removes IPs that sites already flag as proxy or VPN.
  • The country is free. Traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or ISP) is billed ×2: 1 GB of such traffic uses 2 GB of your plan, we add nothing.
  • Availability in a specific city changes during the day. If there are no free addresses, remove the city or pick a neighbouring one.
  • In a sticky session, the IP of a home or mobile device can change before the session expires — when the device goes offline.
  • The proxies carry TCP only: messenger calls and online games don't work. Some sites are closed to all customers — see the blocked sites page.
