Switzerland proxies
Residential, mobile and datacenter IP addresses in Switzerland. Residential IPs online now: 1,438.
Proxy types
Switzerland ranks #74 worldwide by the number of residential IPs in our pool.
There are 107 mobile addresses in Switzerland right now — for accounts, use a sticky-session port (10000–20000) per profile.
There are more datacenter addresses in Switzerland than residential ones (1,595). For scraping and rank tracking this is the cheapest option — $0.80 per GB.
Why Switzerland calls for a local address
Switzerland is not part of the EU and has a market of its own: prices in Swiss francs (CHF), 8.1% tax, its own customs. The main platforms are Digitec Galaxus, the auction site Ricardo, the classifieds boards Tutti and Anibis, the price comparison site Toppreise, and the Coop and Migros chains. Many Swiss stores do not deliver abroad and show foreigners different prices or do not show the product at all.
Prices in Switzerland are noticeably higher than in neighbouring countries. For price monitoring of the Swiss market you need a Swiss IP: from a German or French address you will see the prices for your own country.
The google.ch search results are its own. For rank tracking you need a Swiss IP and the language of the relevant part of the country: de-CH, fr-CH or it-CH.
Cities and time zone
The city is set in the generator's advanced mode: USERNAME__cr.ch;city.geneva. Write the name in Latin letters, in lowercase, without spaces and without local letters: city.basel, city.bern, city.lausanne.
There is one time zone, Europe/Zurich, with daylight saving time.
Which proxy type fits Swiss tasks
- Residential - residential IPs of Swiss internet providers. For marketplaces, price monitoring and Facebook ads. $1.59 per GB, more on the residential proxies page.
- Mobile - IPs of 4G/5G mobile networks. For Instagram and TikTok. $2.50 per GB, see mobile proxies.
- Datacenter - data center IPs, the lowest-priced option for catalogue scraping and bulk search result checks. $0.80 per GB, details on the datacenter proxies page.
The mobile carriers in Switzerland are Swisscom, Sunrise and Salt. You can set a carrier by its ASN in advanced mode. Whether addresses of a particular carrier are available depends on the pool.
Languages and formats
The country has four national languages; sites are usually published in German, French and Italian. Swiss German has no letter ß - it is written as ss, so a search by product names taken from German sites may not match Swiss ones. Prices are often written with an apostrophe between the thousands: CHF 1'299.–, where the dot and dash at the end mean "even, no rappen". When parsing prices, take both characters into account.
For accounts, use a sticky IP on ports 10000-20000 with a session duration of up to 120 minutes. Before the first login, check that the IP, the time zone and the browser language (de-CH, fr-CH or it-CH) all point to the same country. You can check the IP, country and WebRTC on the My IP page, and guides for setting up software are collected in the guides section.
How to buy Switzerland proxies
To buy Switzerland proxy servers, create a plan, choose “Switzerland” in the generator and pick HTTP or SOCKS5. Residential IPs in Switzerland cost $1.59 per GB, mobile $2.50 and datacenter $0.80; the price is the same for every country. Pay with crypto; the traffic you buy never expires.
Good to know for any country
- The pool is shared: another customer may have used an address before. The anonymity filter in pool settings removes IPs that sites already flag as proxy or VPN.
- The country is free. Traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or ISP) is billed ×2: 1 GB of such traffic uses 2 GB of your plan, we add nothing.
- Availability in a specific city changes during the day. If there are no free addresses, remove the city or pick a neighbouring one.
- In a sticky session, the IP of a home or mobile device can change before the session expires — when the device goes offline.
- The proxies carry TCP only: messenger calls and online games don't work. Some sites are closed to all customers — see the blocked sites page.
