Australia proxies
Residential, mobile and datacenter IP addresses in Australia. Residential IPs online now: 4,453.
Proxy types
Australia ranks #34 worldwide by the number of residential IPs in our pool.
Mobile addresses in Australia are scarce so far — 99. If you need more addresses for accounts, use residential ones: there are 4,453.
There are 4,005 datacenter addresses in Australia. They are cheaper ($0.80 per GB), but sites with strict checks block them more often.
Why Australia calls for a local address
Australian stores and services show prices in Australian dollars, calculate delivery within their own country and often send the visitor to a separate version of the site. Amazon.com.au, eBay.com.au, Kogan, JB Hi-Fi, the classifieds board Gumtree, the Woolworths and Coles chains: each has its own product range and its own prices that you will not find in the US or UK version.
Prices in Australia are usually shown with GST already included: the total in the cart is the same as the price tag. That is convenient for price monitoring, but only if the page is opened from an Australian IP. From an address in another country, a store may show a different currency or an export price without the tax.
The google.com.au search results are different too: local stores, Australian reviews and addresses rank higher. For rank tracking on the Australian market you need an Australian address.
Cities and time zones
Choosing the country in the generator costs nothing extra. Setting a city makes sense when the result depends on it: local search results, delivery, product availability. Switch on advanced mode and specify the city: USERNAME__cr.au;city.sydney. Write the name in Latin letters, in lowercase, without spaces: city.melbourne, city.brisbane, city.perth, city.adelaide.
Australia has several time zones, and not every state switches to daylight saving time:
- Australia/Sydney and Australia/Melbourne - the east coast, with daylight saving time;
- Australia/Brisbane - the same offset in winter, but no daylight saving time;
- Australia/Adelaide - the offset differs from its neighbours by half an hour;
- Australia/Perth - the west coast, no daylight saving time.
Choose the time zone name by the city of the IP rather than a fixed offset: the switch to daylight saving time is then handled automatically. And remember that seasons in the southern hemisphere are reversed, so daylight saving time runs from October to April.
Which proxy type fits Australian tasks
- Residential - residential IPs of Australian internet providers. They suit marketplaces, price monitoring and Facebook ads. $1.59 per GB, more on the residential proxies page.
- Mobile - IPs of 4G/5G mobile networks. For Instagram and TikTok. $2.50 per GB, see mobile proxies.
- Datacenter - data center IPs. The lowest-priced option for catalogue scraping and bulk search result checks. $0.80 per GB, details on the datacenter proxies page.
The largest mobile carriers in Australia are Telstra, Optus and Vodafone. You can set a carrier by its ASN in advanced mode if you know it. Whether addresses of a particular carrier are available depends on the pool.
Speed and accounts
Australia is far from Europe, and a request through an Australian address takes longer than one through a European address. Set timeouts with a margin: 30 seconds for scripts is a reasonable starting point.
For accounts, use a sticky IP on ports 10000-20000 with a session duration of up to 120 minutes. Before the first login, check that the IP, the time zone and the browser language (en-AU) all point to the same city. You can check the IP, country and WebRTC on the My IP page, and guides for setting up software are collected in the guides section.
How to buy Australia proxies
To buy Australia proxy servers, create a plan, choose “Australia” in the generator and pick HTTP or SOCKS5. Residential IPs in Australia cost $1.59 per GB, mobile $2.50 and datacenter $0.80; the price is the same for every country. Pay with crypto; the traffic you buy never expires.
Good to know for any country
- The pool is shared: another customer may have used an address before. The anonymity filter in pool settings removes IPs that sites already flag as proxy or VPN.
- The country is free. Traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or ISP) is billed ×2: 1 GB of such traffic uses 2 GB of your plan, we add nothing.
- Availability in a specific city changes during the day. If there are no free addresses, remove the city or pick a neighbouring one.
- In a sticky session, the IP of a home or mobile device can change before the session expires — when the device goes offline.
- The proxies carry TCP only: messenger calls and online games don't work. Some sites are closed to all customers — see the blocked sites page.
