Mexico ranks #6 worldwide by the number of residential IPs in our pool.

There are 142 mobile addresses in Mexico right now — for accounts, use a sticky-session port (10000–20000) per profile.

There are 636 datacenter addresses in Mexico. They are cheaper ($0.80 per GB), but sites with strict checks block them more often.

How the Mexican market differs from the US market

Mexico borders the US, but for websites it is a separate country with its own prices and product range. Mercado Libre, Amazon.com.mx, Liverpool, Coppel and Walmart México show prices in Mexican pesos and calculate delivery within Mexico. From a US IP you will see the US version or a prompt to switch to it.

An important detail for price collection: the Mexican peso uses the same $ sign as the dollar. The amount "$1,500" on a Mexican site is in pesos, not dollars. Check the currency code (MXN) on the page or in the markup, otherwise your data will end up in mixed currencies.

The google.com.mx search results differ from google.com: Mexican stores and Spanish-language pages rank higher. For rank tracking and ads aimed at a Mexican audience you need an address from Mexico.

Language, cities and time zones

The browser language for a Mexican profile is es-MX. Spanish with the Spain region (es-ES) looks less natural with a Mexican IP: both the date format and the forms of address in interfaces are different.

The city is set in the generator's advanced mode: USERNAME__cr.mx;city.mexicocity. Write the name in Latin letters, in lowercase, without spaces: city.guadalajara, city.monterrey, city.tijuana.

Choose the time zone by the city of the IP:

  • America/Mexico_City - Mexico City, Guadalajara and the centre of the country; no daylight saving time;
  • America/Monterrey - Monterrey and the north-east;
  • America/Tijuana - Tijuana on the US border, where clocks change together with California;
  • America/Cancun - Cancún and the Caribbean coast.

Which proxy type fits Mexican tasks

The largest mobile carriers in Mexico are Telcel, AT&T México and Movistar. You can set a carrier by its ASN in advanced mode. Whether addresses of a particular carrier are available depends on the pool.

Accounts and advertising

Do not switch an account between Mexico and the US: to a service this is a change of country, even if the cities are separated by a single border crossing. For accounts, use a sticky IP on ports 10000-20000 with a session duration of up to 120 minutes.

Ad campaigns in Mexico are often targeted at individual cities: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey. It is best to check ads and landing pages from an address in the same city. You can check the IP and country on the My IP page, and guides for setting up software are in the guides section.

How to buy Mexico proxies

To buy Mexico proxy servers, create a plan, choose “Mexico” in the generator and pick HTTP or SOCKS5. Residential IPs in Mexico cost $1.59 per GB, mobile $2.50 and datacenter $0.80; the price is the same for every country. Pay with crypto; the traffic you buy never expires.

Good to know for any country

  • The pool is shared: another customer may have used an address before. The anonymity filter in pool settings removes IPs that sites already flag as proxy or VPN.
  • The country is free. Traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or ISP) is billed ×2: 1 GB of such traffic uses 2 GB of your plan, we add nothing.
  • Availability in a specific city changes during the day. If there are no free addresses, remove the city or pick a neighbouring one.
  • In a sticky session, the IP of a home or mobile device can change before the session expires — when the device goes offline.
  • The proxies carry TCP only: messenger calls and online games don't work. Some sites are closed to all customers — see the blocked sites page.

FAQ

How many Mexico IP addresses are available now?

Residential: 24,152, mobile: 142, datacenter: 636. The numbers are refreshed hourly from our IP pool.

Are there mobile proxies in Mexico?

There are 142 mobile addresses in Mexico right now — for accounts, use a sticky-session port (10000–20000) per profile.

How much do Mexico proxies cost?

The price does not depend on the country: residential $1.59 per GB, mobile $2.50, datacenter $0.80.

Can I choose a city in Mexico?

Yes. In the generator's advanced mode you can set a city or an ISP. Traffic with precise geo is counted double.
