Terms of Service · 09.10.2026
Archived version: a different one is in force now — Terms of Service.
Version dated 9 October 2026. Earlier versions.
This document is a public offer by Prokso, hereinafter the Provider, to enter into an agreement for access to proxy servers on the terms below.
1. Definitions
Service means the prokso.com website and dashboard. Customer means a person who has signed up. Plan means separate proxy access with its own username, password and traffic balance. Traffic means the volume of data passing through the proxy in both directions.
2. Subject
The Provider gives the Customer access to proxy servers in the amount of paid traffic. The proxy type, amount and price are set when the order is placed.
3. Acceptance
Signing up and paying for an order mean full acceptance of these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. At sign-up and before ordering, the Customer confirms acceptance by ticking a box in the form. The Provider stores the version of the terms, the date, the time and the IP address from which acceptance was given. Each new order confirms acceptance of the version in force when the order is placed.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars on the Pricing page at the time of payment; they can also be shown in hryvnias at the National Bank of Ukraine rate. Traffic is added to the plan once payment is confirmed and never expires. Precise geo (region, city, ZIP code, carrier/ASN) uses traffic at double rate; the dashboard warns the Customer about it.
Account balance. The Customer can top up the balance in the dashboard and pay for orders from it. The balance is a prepayment for services in US dollars. It has no expiry date and is only spent on orders the Customer places. The unspent part of a top-up is refunded on request via the support chat under the Refund Policy; any bonus credited for that top-up is then deducted in proportion to the refunded amount and is not paid out.
5. Service provision
The Provider gives access to the proxies and shows the balance and usage in the dashboard. Short maintenance breaks are possible. Access to specific websites through the proxies is not guaranteed: third-party services may restrict access at their discretion.
6. Customer obligations and representations
The Customer keeps the dashboard password and proxy credentials secret and is responsible for all actions taken with them, including the actions of anyone the Customer has given access to. The Customer does not pass access to third parties for resale without the Provider's written consent.
By accepting these terms, the Customer represents that:
- the Customer is at least 18 years old and entitled to enter into agreements, or, when acting for a company, is authorized to do so;
- the details given at sign-up and the stated purpose of using the proxies are true;
- the Customer will use the proxies only for lawful purposes and will comply with the laws of Ukraine and of the country the Customer operates from;
- the Customer is not subject to sanctions of Ukraine, the European Union, the United States or the UN Security Council and does not act on behalf of sanctioned persons;
- the Customer does not live or operate in a country or territory subject to such sanctions. The Provider may decline to serve particular countries.
At the Provider's request, the Customer explains within 3 business days what the proxies are used for and, where there are reasonable doubts, confirms identity with a document. The Provider may suspend access until a reply is received.
7. Prohibited use
It is prohibited to use the proxies for actions that violate the law or the rights of third parties, including:
- spam, fraud, phishing and data theft;
- unauthorized access to systems, password guessing, testing stolen credentials and taking over other people's accounts;
- DDoS attacks and scanning other networks for vulnerabilities;
- click and impression fraud;
- distribution of malware;
- distribution of child sexual abuse material, terrorist propaganda and other illegal or prohibited content;
- copyright infringement and unlawful collection of personal data;
- access to resources blocked by sanctions of Ukraine and any circumvention of sanctions.
The list is not exhaustive: any use that breaks the law is prohibited.
Detailed rules are in the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.
8. Suspension and termination
The Provider may suspend a plan or account without notice if there are signs of a violation of section 7, a justified complaint or a request from a public authority is received, or the Customer has not answered a request under section 6 or has given false details. The Provider notifies the Customer of the suspension in the dashboard or by email.
If a violation is confirmed, the Provider blocks the plan or account, and money for the blocked traffic is not refunded. The Provider may withhold from the remaining balance the amount of confirmed losses and third-party claims caused by the violation. A repeated violation is grounds to close the account and refuse further service. This also applies to the same Customer's other accounts, including those created after the block.
The Provider may refuse sign-up or an order if there are grounds to believe the services will be used in violation of these terms.
9. Liability
The Provider's liability is limited to the amount paid for the order the claim relates to. The Provider is not liable for the Customer's actions performed through the proxies, for blocking of the Customer's accounts by third-party services, or for indirect losses.
The services are provided “as is”: the Provider does not guarantee that the proxies will suit the Customer's particular task.
The Customer alone is responsible to third parties and public authorities for how the proxies are used. If the Customer's actions lead to claims, fines or losses for the Provider, the Customer compensates them in full, including the cost of legal assistance.
The Provider keeps records of acceptance of these terms, orders, payments, dashboard logins and traffic usage. The parties recognize these records as proper evidence in a dispute. The Provider may check the volume and nature of proxy use to detect abuse. On a lawful request from public authorities, the Provider discloses such records to the extent the law requires, and may itself report detected signs of a crime to them.
10. Force majeure
The parties are released from liability for failure to perform due to force majeure, including martial law, power or communication outages and actions of public authorities.
11. Refunds
Refund terms are described on the Refunds page, which is part of these terms.
12. Term and changes
The agreement is valid until the paid traffic is used up or the account is closed. The Provider may change these terms by publishing a new dated version on the website. The new version applies to orders placed after publication: before the next order, the dashboard asks the Customer to confirm it. The price and amount of orders already paid do not change. Earlier versions are available from the Provider on request.
13. Disputes
Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, failing agreement, in court under the laws of Ukraine. The Provider accepts payment claims within 3 months of the payment date. If language versions of these terms differ, the Ukrainian version applies. If one clause is invalid, the rest remain in force.
