Hungary proxies

Hungary ranks #111 worldwide by the number of residential IPs in our pool.

Mobile addresses in Hungary are scarce so far — 26. If you need more addresses for accounts, use residential ones: there are 523.

There are more datacenter addresses in Hungary than residential ones (793). For scraping and rank tracking this is the cheapest option — $0.80 per GB.

Why Hungary calls for a local address

Hungary is part of the EU but pays in forints (Ft, HUF). Local platforms such as eMAG.hu, Alza.hu, MediaMarkt.hu, the price comparison site Árukereső and the classifieds board Jófogás show Hungarian prices and delivery when you visit from Hungary. eMAG and Alza have a separate site for each country, and from a foreign IP it is easy to land on a neighbouring version.

Tax in Hungary is 27%, the highest in the EU, and it is already included in the price. For price monitoring this is the main reason why Hungarian prices cannot be recalculated from neighbouring countries: you need to collect them from a Hungarian address.

The google.hu search results are its own. For rank tracking you need a Hungarian IP and the browser language hu-HU.

Cities and time zone

The city is set in the generator's advanced mode: USERNAME__cr.hu;city.budapest. Write the name in Latin letters, in lowercase, without spaces and without local letters: city.debrecen, city.szeged, city.pecs.

There is one time zone, Europe/Budapest, with daylight saving time.

Which proxy type fits Hungarian tasks

• Residential - residential IPs of Hungarian internet providers. For marketplaces, price monitoring and Facebook ads. $1.59 per GB, more on the residential proxies page.
• Mobile - IPs of 4G/5G mobile networks. For Instagram and TikTok. $2.50 per GB, see mobile proxies.
• Datacenter - data center IPs, the lowest-priced option for catalogue scraping and bulk search result checks. $0.80 per GB, details on the datacenter proxies page.

The mobile carriers in Hungary are Telekom, Yettel and One. You can set a carrier by its ASN in advanced mode. Whether addresses of a particular carrier are available depends on the pool.

What is specific to Hungarian sites

Prices are written with a space between the thousands and without fractional units: 12 990 Ft. Hungarian has many letters with accents - á, é, ő, ű - and some sites remove them from page addresses. When searching by product names, bring the text to a single form.

For accounts, use a sticky IP on ports 10000-20000 with a session duration of up to 120 minutes. Before the first login, check that the IP, the time zone and the browser language (hu-HU) all point to the same country. You can check the IP, country and WebRTC on the My IP page, and guides for setting up software are collected in the guides section.

How to buy Hungary proxies

To buy Hungary proxy servers, create a plan, choose “Hungary” in the generator and pick HTTP or SOCKS5. Residential IPs in Hungary cost $1.59 per GB, mobile $2.50 and datacenter $0.80; the price is the same for every country. Pay with crypto; the traffic you buy never expires.

Good to know for any country

• The pool is shared: another customer may have used an address before. The anonymity filter in pool settings removes IPs that sites already flag as proxy or VPN.
• The country is free. Traffic with precise geo (region, city, ZIP or ISP) is billed ×2: 1 GB of such traffic uses 2 GB of your plan, we add nothing.
• Availability in a specific city changes during the day. If there are no free addresses, remove the city or pick a neighbouring one.
• In a sticky session, the IP of a home or mobile device can change before the session expires — when the device goes offline.
• The proxies carry TCP only: messenger calls and online games don't work. Some sites are closed to all customers — see the blocked sites page.
