Datacenter proxy

A datacenter proxy is a proxy with a datacenter IP address: fast and inexpensive, but noticeable to some websites.

The addresses of datacenter proxies belong to datacenters. They have a wide and stable connection, so this is the fastest and cheapest type.

A website can tell that a request came from a datacenter and not from a home user. Some sites do not react to this, others show a CAPTCHA more often.

Datacenter proxies are used for high-volume work with public data: scraping catalogs, price monitoring, rank tracking. They are less suitable for logging in to accounts; residential or mobile proxies are used there.

In Prokso this is the least expensive type. See the datacenter proxies page for details.

FAQ

When are datacenter proxies enough?

When you collect public data without logging in to an account and the site does not react to datacenter addresses: catalogs, prices, search rankings.

What should I do if the site shows a CAPTCHA?

Lower the request frequency and turn on rotation. If that does not help, switch to residential proxies.

Residential $1.59, mobile $2.50, datacenter $0.80 per GB
