Sticky session
A sticky session is a mode in which the proxy keeps the same IP address for a set time.
In the normal mode a rotating proxy changes the address on every request. A sticky session holds one address for several minutes or tens of minutes.
This is needed for actions that take several steps: logging in to an account, placing an order, signing up. If the address changes in the middle of the process, the site may ask for confirmation or log you out.
The address is not assigned to you forever: when the session ends, it returns to the shared pool, and next time you will get a different one.
In Prokso ports from 10000 to 20000 hold one address for 1 to 120 minutes, 30 by default. It is convenient to give each account its own port.
