About the state

Ohio has three metro areas of roughly equal weight (Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati), and local results differ between them. Pick the city for the task at hand. Note that there's a Columbus in both Ohio and Georgia: after setting it up, check the result on the My IP page. The whole state is on Eastern Time.

How to get an address in Ohio

In the dashboard generator choose the USA and switch on advanced mode. The state is set with a parameter in the username: USERNAME__cr.us;state.ohio. It works with any port: 823 or 824 give a new address in the state on every request, and sticky ports 10000-20000 keep one address for 1 to 120 minutes.

Traffic with precise geo (state, city, ZIP or provider ASN) counts double; choosing only the country costs nothing extra. Whether addresses are available in a given state depends on what the pool has at that moment: if the connection fails, try again later or use a wider area.

Largest cities in Ohio

To narrow it down to a city, add the city parameter: USERNAME__cr.us;city.columbus. Write the name in Latin letters, lowercase, with no spaces.

Time zone for your profile

So that your browser profile doesn't look inconsistent, set the state's time zone: Eastern Time (America/New_York). If the state has several time zones, use the one for the city your address comes from. Antidetect browsers usually set the time zone from the IP: check that the option is on, using the My IP page.
