Browser fingerprint
A browser fingerprint is a set of technical traits by which a site recognizes a device even without cookies.
A site can learn dozens of details about a browser: screen size, fonts, time zone, language, graphics card, system version. One by one they mean nothing, but together they give an almost unique combination.
So changing the IP address alone does not make you a new visitor. If the fingerprint is the same, the site will link the two visits.
The fingerprint and the address must agree: the browser's time zone and language should match the proxy's country. A mismatch is noticeable and triggers checks.
Antidetect browsers are used for separate profiles. You can check what a site sees on the My IP page.
FAQ
Does incognito mode help?
It does not save history or cookies, but the fingerprint stays the same: the screen, fonts and system are unchanged.
Why does the time zone need to match?
If the address is from one country and the browser time is from another, the site sees a contradiction and asks for confirmation more often.
